Sarakup Indu Dayak Sarawak (SIDS) held its 2nd Triennial General Meeting

Sarakup Indu Dayak Sarawak (SIDS) held its 2nd Triennial General Meeting on the 29.2.2020 at Margherita Hotel, Kuching.  It was attended by about 377 members from across the state.  SIDS have 28 branches from Limbang to Kuching, and have a strong membership of 14,000 members.  Also present at the meeting was Professor Dr. Jayum Jawan, Chair holder of the Tan Sri Empiang Jabu Chair in Dayak Women Studies.   At the said meeting, the Executive Committee were duly elected for the term 2020 to 2022.   All the Executive Committee were returned unopposed.  The Election was conducted by the Sarawak Dayak National Union (SDNU) officers and headed by Mr. William Baja Jap, and assisted by En. Harold Unsie (Secretary General of SDNU), En. Sebasatian Renggien, and En. Gary Ningkan (President, Sarawak Dayak Graduate Association).
